The "Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People" seminar is a really fun ONE time, 2.5 hour seminar for adults and teens. It is designed to teach you the basics of playing the guitar using chords. In this seminar you will learn how to get started in learning the guitar. We will teach you some simple chords and you will then take home a specially prepared workbook and practice DVD which is designed for home practice. You follow along in your workbook and also watch your practice DVD at the same time. You get to take this at your own pace and rewind and work on each section of your workbook as many times as you need to. It's just like taking your instructor home with you (and the nice thing is, he doesn't eat anything).

The class is partly lecture/demonstration and partly hands-on instruction (so you will need to bring your acoustic guitar with you to the class). It is a very non-threatening atmosphere because almost all of the students who attend are just as much of a beginner as you are. Many of them have never strummed a guitar before in their entire life.

At the end of the class you will be able to go out right away and start playing songs that you really want to play at a very simple level. For those who want to go on to a more complex and advanced level of playing, we offer additional educational materials. These are for sale at the end of the class and are being used successfully by thousands of students all over the country.

Each class is sponsored by a College or Recreation program and you will need to call them directly to register before the class. There is a registration fee (which you will pay to the sponsor) and a materials fee for the book and DVD (which is usually collected by the instructor in the class).
